Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• 3+ years of US military or US police officer experience.
• 2+ years of verifiable armed DCJS experience.
• Active Armed DCJS handgun endorsement.
• Must pass extensive background checks and assessments.
• Proficient reading and writing of detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Deter potential threats with a commanding presence.
• Respond to active shooter situations, hostage scenarios, and threats.
• Serve as initial point of contact for police, fire, and EMS during incidents.
• Maintain weapon handling and marksmanship; complete live-fire training.
• Disassemble/reassemble firearms as required.
• Demonstrate situational awareness, integrity, fitness, and communication.
• Provide excellent customer service and stay vigilant at entrances and surroundings.
• Observe, report activity, and respond rapidly to incidents.
