Job summary

ASAP Security in Columbus, OH is seeking an OPOTA-certified armed officer to handle office administration and field duties. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with occasional travel to cover vacant shifts; a company vehicle is provided.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of security or military experience or one year of security experience with an associate degree, plus strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• OPOTA- certificate (20-hour) required.
• Two years security/military experience or one year security with an associate degree.
• 21+ years old with valid driver's license and clean record.
• Strong verbal and written communication, order and organization, attention to detail.

If you are an OPOTA-certified armed officer who can work in office administration just as well as in the field, we are looking for you! This is a full-time position Mon - Fri, 8 am-5 pm. We prefer at least two years of security/military experience OR one year of security experience with at least an associate's degree from a college/university. Must have strong verbal/written communication skills, order and organization, attention to detail, and a professional attitude. Must be willing to occasionally travel to other cities to cover vacant shifts (company vehicle provided).

Candidate Qualifications

• Valid 20‑hour OPOTA certificate
