Job summary

ASAP Security in Columbus, OH is seeking an OPOTA-certified armed officer to handle office administration and field duties. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with occasional travel to cover vacant shifts; a company vehicle is provided.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of security or military experience or one year of security experience with an associate degree, plus strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• OPOTA- certificate (20-hour) required.
• Two years security/military experience or one year security with an associate degree.
• 21+ years old with valid driver's license and clean record.
• Strong verbal and written communication, order and organization, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• working on the schedule
• managing the operations software platform
• ensuring compliance in the field with post orders, policies, and procedures
• helping to hire new officers
• filling in for short-term vacancies in/out of town
