Allied Universal is hiring Armed Security Officers to safeguard facilities and deter crime. The role requires an active Level Three New Mexico armed guard license and prior security or law enforcement experience.

Earn $24 per hour and serve as a visible deterrent while patrolling and enforcing site rules. Applicants must meet licensing requirements, be at least 21, and possess strong communication and observation skills.

Qualifications

• Active State Armed Security Level Three Guard License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current driver’s license
• Must obtain Level Three New Mexico Guard Card
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to assess situations quickly
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality armed security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Patrol facility grounds on foot, bicycle, or vehicle
• Enforce site rules and directives for site viability
• Maintain proficiency with protective equipment and weapons
• Greet and assist guests, escort visitors, and secure points of entry
• Follow post orders and report safety concerns and incidents
• Respond to alarms and act as a first responder, providing first aid if needed
