Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to oversee a Commercial Building in the Hudson Yards area of Manhattan. The role supervises security staff on a shift and coordinates with management to deliver quality service on site.

Requirements include a NY law enforcement officer license, an armed guard license, supervisory experience, and a high school diploma. This is a full-time position with Monday–Friday workdays and morning/afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a NY Law Enforcement Officer license.
• Must possess an armed guard license.
• Prior NYPD or active NYPD background preferred.
• Must have supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and the public.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs.
• Valid driver's license with required driving record (for driving positions).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate security staff on the assigned shift.
• Serve as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager, and officers.
• Ensure delivery of quality security services on site.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and disciplinary actions within guidelines.
