Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer for a corporate building in Midtown, Manhattan. This full-time role offers shifts from 8 am to 6 pm, with a pay rate of $40.80 per hour.

The officer will provide security services across various industries, performing patrols and following site-specific procedures. Minimum requirements include being 21+, possessing a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience), and undergoing background checks and drug screening as

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
