Qualifications

• Previous professional security experience is required.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience is preferred.
• Armed security or high-security background (government, courthouse, corrections, military, law-enforcement) is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, customer-service, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to prepare and review accurate security reports.
• Must pass background checks, fingerprinting, and security-clearance requirements.
• Must meet all armed-security qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct armed security officers on a daily basis.
• Ensure posts are staffed and covered appropriately.
• Conduct shift briefings and post inspections.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, uniforms, equipment, and performance.
• Support access control, screening, patrols, and incident-response activities.
• Ensure procedures and post requirements are followed.
• Respond to incidents and de-escalate when necessary.
• Maintain professional interactions with employees, visitors, and the public.
• Review daily activity and incident reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Report significant incidents through the chain of command.
• Assist with call-offs, replacement staffing, and continuous coverage.
