A valid DoD Secret Clearance is required and an armed guard card is mandatory. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling (Day/Evening shifts) and a pathway to additional shifts via our Claim a Shift platform, while you protect clients across

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and follow site-specific security procedures.

As a Armed Security Security Cleared Officer in Poway, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and access concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
