Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Professional to protect and monitor government buildings under the Fairfax County Government Contract. The role emphasizes visible patrols, strong communication, and a welcoming presence to staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years armed-related experience (Security, Law Enforcement, or U.S. Military).
• Active VA DCJS Armed certification; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to maintain a secure environment.
• Document and report security incidents and policy violations as required.
• Assist with emergency response activities per established protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel.
