Qualifications

• One year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience preferred.
• Armed guard card and/or license is required.
• 40 caliber endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while following site procedures and emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, and surrounding sites to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and disturbances, following established protocols and requesting support as needed.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with access-control for restricted areas.
• Prepare and complete required incident reports and documentation in accordance with policy.
