Job summary

Allied Universal in San Jose, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol. You will conduct routine patrols across assigned locations, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while driving between sites.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Monitor the location for unusual activity and report observations according to site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with established reporting requirements.
