Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Valid armed guard card or license.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public while following site policies and emergency procedures at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document activity per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor screening and access-control procedures.
• Maintain qualifications for armed duty and complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
