Job summary

Allied Universal in Boston seeks a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver to protect clients at a financial institution. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a daytime schedule including evenings and weekends. Training and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement or 2+ years of security experience.
• Valid driver’s license required for this role.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.
• Driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors following security procedures.
• Conduct armed patrols of the facility, surrounding property, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify access, manage visitor screening and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, documenting actions taken.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment per laws and site policies.
