Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable laws, site procedures, and armed post requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, document activities and incidents, and report concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency services.
• Maintain required qualifications and follow Allied Universal policies for the responsible handling, storage, and use of assigned equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
