Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for weekend protection in Phoenix, AZ. In this part-time role, you will patrol manufacturing/industrial locations, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security needs with professional customer service.

You must hold an Armed Guard Card/License, be 21+, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. The role includes background checks and drug screening per applicable laws.

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, using authorized armed post procedures when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and promptly reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
