• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles entering or exiting the location.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents and patrol observations, and communicate findings to Allied Universal leadership.

Armed Security Officer - Patrol Full-Time

In Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. An armed guard card or license is required.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles entering or exiting the location.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol observations, access‑related activity, and unusual conditions, and communicate findings to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
