Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company in North America, seeks an Armed Security Officer for a wealth management location in New York. This part-time role offers a set evening schedule and an hourly pay rate of $46, with opportunities to grow and explore new shifts through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

Pay Rate: $46.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management and escort procedures in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting observations and actions taken.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership, site contacts, and responding emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Possess a valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
