Job summary

SecTek, Inc seeks an armed security officer at a Washington, DC site to provide quality physical security at the client location. You will follow SOPs, patrol interior and exterior areas, restrict access, and report building activity to the Operations Manager.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and emphasizes surveillance, quick decision-making, and accurate reporting during overnight shifts. Training and adherence to post orders are essential.

Responsibilities

• Following prescribed Standard Operating Procedures for basic and emergency responses
• Liaising with security and building management to communicate, escalate, and solve problems
• Creating detailed reports on building activity
• Patrolling the interior and exterior of the contract site
• Performing duties in accordance with Post Orders
• Controlling/restricting access to the property
• Responding to major occurrences with intelligence, speed and accuracy
