What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, transit-related areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
• Maintain required reports, incident documentation, and activity logs in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
