Qualifications

• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security- related experience.
• Hold an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age and eligible for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner with coordinations to transit personnel and emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized access, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and patrol activities per site requirements.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with appropriate transit personnel and public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, administrative spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience, or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Hold an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
