Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Security Officer Television Network Patrol in New York, NY. You will patrol, deter security incidents, and respond professionally to emergencies while delivering excellent customer service at a commercial office/media production site.

Position is full time with a schedule that includes early morning shifts. The role requires a valid Law Enforcement Officer License, 21+ years old, and a licensed driver for driving

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading docks, common areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; communicate with supervisors and first responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior through proper channels.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with laws and Allied Universal policies; complete accurate activity and incident reports.

As an Armed Security Officer Television Network Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to emerging situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial office and media production location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading docks, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with supervisors, first responders, and appropriate site personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when assigned, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations through required channels.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures; complete accurate activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
