Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to join our Culpeper, VA team full-time. You will patrol and monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology infrastructure site.

You will respond to alarms and incidents, document observations, and maintain a visible security presence to support a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law; eligible for drug screening.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology infrastructure location per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, solution-focused manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, data center areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and deliveries, verifying authorization and maintaining documentation.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and patrol observations.
