Friday - Tuesday 3 PM - 11 PM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations requiring attention, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $25.88 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel or public agencies.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
