Job summary

Security Management of South Carolina is seeking a Professional Armed Security Officer, preferably with an active Armed SLED card. The pay range is $17.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Officers provide security, deter crime, and ensure client facility safety and compliance. Duties include monitoring access, reporting safety concerns, engaging with staff and guests, and presenting a professional security presence.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen and at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and a 13-panel drug test.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and provide a 3-year driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality security services to protect people and property.
• Report safety concerns and security breaches verbally and in writing.
• Build relationships with client employees and guests and assist them as needed.
• Answer phones or greet guests and employees in a professional, welcoming manner.
