Allied Universal is seeking an armed Security Officer - Site Access in Columbia, SC to protect a healthcare location and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional service.

The role involves armed patrols, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and maintaining equipment in accordance with policy and law. Must have an armed guard card, at least 21, and a minimum of one year in armed security. Full-time hours and benefits provided.

Formación

• One year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred).
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check as required by federal, state and local laws.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and contractors while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with hospital personnel and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and restricted-area access throughout the health facility.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment, including firearms, in line with policy and laws.
