Allied Universal is hiring a Cleared Federal Protective Services Armed Security Officer for a high-profile site in Washington, DC. The role includes armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring, incident reporting, and exceptional customer service.

The position is full-time with requirements for an Active Secret Clearance, 3 years of armed security or military experience, and FPS suitability (about 60 days). Paid training at $25.00/hr and site pay starting at $33/hr are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have or be able to obtain firearms qualifications and certifications.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• 3 years of armed security, military or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain FPS suitability within ~60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed protective services and patrols according to standards.
• Control access, monitor CCTV and alarms, and report incidents.
• maintain professional client relations and guest service.
• respond to emergencies following protocol and post orders.
• greet visitors and employees, answer questions, and assist as needed.
• patrol the facility on foot or by vehicle and monitor communications.
