Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Spring, TX for a part-time daytime schedule. You will patrol a retail location, deter incidents, respond to alarms, and provide professional customer service to store personnel and customers.

The role requires a valid Level III Armed Certification, an Armed Guard Card, and a Texas driver’s license. Applicants undergo background checks and drug screening; a flexible schedule and growth opportunities are offered within a leading security

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with store leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail store, parking areas, loading areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with store personnel, customers, and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sat 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• 21+ Years of Age
• Active Armed Guard Card/License
• Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
