Metro One Loss Prevention Services Group (Guard Division), Inc. in Pittsburgh is hiring an Armed Security Officer. The role is non-exempt with pay of $35.00 per hour and weekly pay, requiring current or retired law enforcement experience and a high school diploma.

You will maintain a visible security presence, assist guests and staff, patrol assigned areas, and respond to incidents. The position offers benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k), with flexible schedules based on site

Qualifications

• Must be a current or retired law enforcement officer.
• Must have at least 10 years of law enforcement experience.
• Must possess a Pennsylvania Act 235 card or be able to obtain one.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have clear communication skills and a professional manner.
• Must be able to stand at an assigned post for eight hours or longer.
• Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unsafe or illegal activity.
• Assist employees, customers, and visitors in a polite and professional manner.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle.
• Respond quickly and calmly to incidents and emergencies.
• Follow site instructions, company policies, and client procedures.
• Use good judgment and treat others with respect.
