Job summary

OPS Security Group is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a Friday/Saturday 1pm-9pm shift in Pittsburgh, PA. The role requires ACT-235 and entails protecting people and property while delivering high-end customer service in demanding environments, including medical centers and government facilities.

You will conduct patrols, monitor CCTV, respond to emergencies, deter crime, and complete reports. Strong de-escalation, firearms skills, and background checks are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have ACT 235 (current).
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of armed security recommended.
• Must pass Physical Agility Test and Armed Security Officer course.
• Must pass drug screen.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent de-escalation skills.
• Proficient firearms skills.
• Background investigation and screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high end customer service.
• Responding to emergencies.
• Deterring and preventing crime.
• Performing ingress/egress control procedures.
• Investigating incidents.
• Completing daily logs and incident reports.
• Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols.
• Building and maintaining rapport with clients and co-workers.
