Job summary

CSCI is seeking an Armed Security Officer to perform armed patrols, access control, CCTV/alarms monitoring, and incident reporting while delivering high-quality security services. The role involves protecting people and property, enforcing procedures, and maintaining professionalism in all interactions with clients and visitors.

The position requires US citizenship, 2+ years in security, a valid Armed DCJS license, and the ability to obtain a security clearance if needed.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• 2+ years in the military or armed security.
• Minimum 1 year full-time armed civilian law enforcement experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required.
• Must have a valid Armed DCJS license.
• Basic Life Support CPR/AED and First Aid.
• Possess no criminal convictions and a valid driver’s license.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Complete training modules within the first month.

Responsibilities

• Duties include armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring, incident reporting, and customer service.
• Deterrence of threats, enforcing procedures, and responding to emergencies with professionalism.
• Ensure the facility receives high-quality security services to protect people and property.
• Build, improve, and maintain relationships with client employees and guests.
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances verbally and in writing.
• Handle security issues and emergencies according to protocol.
• Follow all site directives and post orders.
