Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and interior areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and management.
