Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Patrol Operations in Dallas, TX, to protect the facility and people at a manufacturing location. This part-time role offers a schedule with Saturday and Sunday shifts and a $22.00 per hour rate, with access to the Claim a Shift platform to pick additional shifts.

You will patrol, deter incidents, respond to alarms, monitor access, and maintain a professional security presence while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• State/local security license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while performing security procedures and responses at a manufacturing/industrial site.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, report unusual conditions, and deter incidents.
• Respond to alarms and incidents calmly following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, report concerns to site contacts.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report access-control concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
