Job summary

Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC seeks a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Incident Command to safeguard a financial institution. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering strong customer service and clear reporting.

Role requires a current Armed Guard Card/CPO where applicable, a high school diploma, and successful background checks. Evening shift, competitive pay, benefits, and training provided.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPO certification is required or preferred.
• Armed Guard Card/licensing is preferred where applicable.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor, vendor, and employee activity in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with management and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and document observations, incidents, and security-related activities according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
