Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Level III Armed Patrol Driver in Haslet, TX. This full-time role requires an armed certification, a valid driver’s license, and a customer-focused approach to protect clients and assets at a retail location.

You will conduct patrols, monitor access areas, respond to incidents, and document all activities in line with policy and law.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, shoppers, and visitors while following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and disturbances in a calm, professional manner and request assistance as needed.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify entry, and report suspicious activity to leadership and supervision.
• Prepare incident reports and documentation in accordance with laws and post orders.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Tue: 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Wed: 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Thur: 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Fri: 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, requesting additional assistance when needed.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and complete required documentation while following applicable laws, post orders, and armed officer procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
