Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Patrol Detail in Albuquerque, NM. You will provide security, monitor access, and respond to incidents in a healthcare setting while maintaining a professional presence and customer service for staff and visitors.

This full-time role requires an Armed Guard Card/License, 21+ age, and a high school diploma. Training, background checks, and drug screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, donors, staff, and vendors by following site‑specific procedures and emergency response activities at a healthcare‑related location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and following site procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation with a professional presence in a donor‑facing environment.

As anArmed Security Officer Patrol Detail in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to staff, visitors, and patients. You will support a welcoming, secure environment through routine observations and prompt reporting of security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, donors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a healthcare‑related location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional, respectful presence in a donor‑facing environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Handcuffs/Pepper Spray/Baton experience is preferred.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
