Job summary

Gaumard Scientific is seeking an Armed Security Guard in Miami, FL to ensure the safety of the facilities and deter crime. The role requires vigilance, reporting, and strict adherence to client protocols.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols, incident reporting, and responding to emergencies. Candidates must have a high school diploma, valid D&G licenses, a firearm permit, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold valid D & G licenses.
• Firearm with valid permit required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare reports and logs; basic computer skills.
• Background check and drug/alcohol test required.
• License must be current while on duty.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies using escalation of force per protocol.
• Maintain proficiency with protective equipment and weapons.
• Control site access through admittance process.
• Observe and report incidents to client or management.
• Patrol site and inspect safety devices.
• Enforce site regulations and directives.
• Monitor entrances/exits and manage movement of people and vehicles.
• Provide quality customer service and handle high volume public.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
