As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as directed by site management.
• Document observations and incidents according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid North Carolina Armed Security Professional License.
• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or have an equivalent qualification.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal Security will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
