As a Security Officer - Armed Correctional Location - Full Time in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an armed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must possess a valid North Carolina Armed Security Professional License.
• You must have an Armed Guard Card or License.
• You must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• You must have a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• You must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• You must participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
