Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Part Time Route Coverage in Las Vegas, NV. You will provide security services, perform armed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents at a government location with a focus on customer service and professionalism.

As part of a flexible schedule, you will work a set of predefined shifts, ensuring reliable coverage while maintaining top-tier security standards and a visible presence on site.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures and site policies.
• Perform armed patrols of buildings, courtyards, parking, and perimeter areas and report unusual activity or access issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and according to protocols.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization, reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports per site procedures and Allied Universal standards.
