Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Maintain an armed presence in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policies, and site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor visitor, employee, and delivery access in accordance with site procedures; document incidents, patrols, and unusual activity in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
