Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Unarmed - Part Time Driver in Austin, TX. You will safeguard clients, patrol sites, and support access control while delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic technology environment.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access activity and visitor entry in accordance with site requirements, helping to support authorized access to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
