Job summary

Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Patrol Emergency Aid to protect clients at a financial institution and nearby facilities. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service while following site procedures.

The role offers flexible day/evening shifts, with a pay rate of $20.55 per hour. As an armed patrol officer you will monitor entry points, respond to alarms, and maintain a visible security presence to keep employees,

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience are required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activities throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Maintain readiness and handle authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, licensing standards, and applicable regulations.

Skills
