Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Armed Security Officer in Atlanta, GA for financial institutions and other sites. You will patrol, deter incidents, control access, and respond to security concerns while delivering customer service in a professional manner.

Minimum requirements include 5+ years security experience, high school diploma, 21+ for armed roles, background check, drug screen, and pepper spray certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report suspicious persons or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and maintain firearms, licensing, and training qualifications.
