Qualifications

• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisory/manager experience, or 3 years of security experience.
• Armed guard card or license required; license preferred.
• Be 21+ years old for armed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a government location while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report irregularities per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and according to post orders.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in logs and reports.
