Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Maintain authorized armed equipment in accordance with laws and Allied Universal policy.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.86 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain authorized armed equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policy, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
