Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Permit Patrol in Somerville, MA. You will patrol both interior and exterior areas, deter unauthorized activity, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors at a financial institution.

Minimum requirements include a concealed carry permit, 1 year of security experience, and a high school diploma or GED. Expected schedule is daytime with consistent shifts; the role requires strict adherence to safety protocols

Qualifications

• Provide customer service while enforcing security procedures and policies.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with site contacts and responders.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports following post procedures.
