Job summary

Allied Universal in Conway, SC is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Access to protect clients across financial institutions and other facilities. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents, while delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Shift hours are part-time with a schedule Thursday and Friday early morning, at $17.77 per hour. Requirements include 2 years of security or law enforcement experience, an armed guard card, being 21+,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Industry-specific security training program participation.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, following established procedures for authorized entry and reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and complete required documentation related to patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.
