Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed with an RPO to join our Newark, NJ team. This role offers fixed shift with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and earn more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial services location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of persons entering and leaving restricted or controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
