Qualifications

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, transit areas, access points, parking, and perimeters to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with emergency responders and site representatives.
• Prepare accurate patrol and incident reports and maintain required logs.
