Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed Patrol Communications in Long Island City, NY. You will monitor and protect clients across government locations, providing visible security and professional customer service while following post orders and site procedures.

Qualifications

Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card/License.
Must possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
Age 21+ for armed roles.
Background check required by law.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site procedures and emergency response protocols at a government transportation location.
Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, perimeters, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
Respond calmly to incidents following post orders and applicable laws.
Maintain incident logs and operate communications equipment as directed.
